Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding two individuals reported missing in separate cases.
Jan Shon Liao, a 65-year-old woman, was last seen shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday leaving her Hawaiian Beaches home, when she reportedly left for a walk.
Liao is described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, 130 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, shorts and a red bandanna around her neck. She was also carrying a backpack.
Dennis Peralta, a 52-year-old Ka‘u man, was last seen walking the morning of March 27 in the 92-9200 block on Koa Lane in Ocean View.
Peralta is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, with a medium build, gray hair, brown eyes, mustache and goatee.
He might be using a walking stick.
Anyone with information about either person’s whereabouts is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
